andy Jones (born August 16, 1943) is a U.S. pregnancy, birth, baby care and baby product expert. She holds both a Bachelors and Masters degree in Psychology and has done doctoral-level studies in infant development. She is the author of 14 books. Some of her titles include: "Good Things for Babies," "Crying Baby, Sleepless Nights," "To Love a Baby," "Learning for Little Kids," seven editions of the "Consumer Reports Guide to Baby Products," and the "Great Expectations" series published by Sterling Publishing, a division of Barnes & Noble that were co-authored with her daughter, Marcie Jones. Titles by the two authors in the series include: "Great Expectations: Your All-in-One Resource for Pregnancy & Childbirth, revised as "Great Expectations Pregnancy & Childbirth," "Great Expectations: Baby's First Year," "Great Expectations: Baby Sleep Guide," "Great Expectations: Pregnancy Journal & Planner," and "Great Expectations: The Toddler Years." Jones has written over 200 articles for national women's magazines on parenting and baby-product topics, and has served as a monthly columnist for "Parents" and "Woman's World." Her media appearances include hundreds of local news shows, the "Today Show" (4 times), "Good Morning America," "CNN," and "Bloomberg Television." A frequent speaker at national conferences for women, she is best known for her "Mothers' Empowerment Seminars" held nationwide. She and her daughter serve as consultants to major corporations to help them in communicating with mom. They have served as pregnancy and baby experts for Kimberly-Clark's HUGGIES(r) and spokespersons for Aetna Insurance in its launch of "Bringing Home Baby."
