Vertical Hold is a new artist book by Luca Antonucci. Using a color video printer, a tool that captures stills from analog video sources, Antonucci takes photographs of various films in which people are taking, projecting or looking at images. The goal is to place the viewer in the position of the character separate from the narrative, creating a closed loop of image and image-maker.
