Claude Bell's Statues
This is a zine that focuses on three of Claude Bell's statues: two huge dinosaurs, named Dinny and Mr. Rex, and a miner named Seldom Seen Slim. The dinosaurs are still standing in Cabazon, California, but Slim and his mule were removed when the Wheel Inn restaurant closed in 2013. You may recognize Dinny and Mr. Rex from the movie, Pee-Wee's Big Adventure. Seldom Seen Slim was in Cabazon for many years, but before that was a very popular statue at Knott's Berry Farm.
